Learning Spaces

K-12: Carden School Masterplan/Concept Design | Fresno, CA | Unbuilt

Carden School of Fresno currently occupies space rented from a church. This scheme was developed for a proposed site adjacent to their current location and embodied architectural strategies that were derived from the school’s curriculum and teaching philosophy. The project awaits funding and has not been constructed. Organized to encouraged participation in outdoor activities, with ball fields to the west, the plan includes a cafeteria, office, and kindergarten near the main drop-off with three wings that house classrooms, music, and art suites and a hands-on science lab forming a courtyard.
